Epi-Light Technology

LED Chip Technology
We utilise LED chips based on advanced compound semiconductor materials, from deep-UV to IR, that exhibit maximum power to deliver high brightness (HB) and efficiency.
Optical Components Technology
In order to manage, control and enhance the beam and spectral characteristics, we integrate precise optical components such as lenses and diffusers for beam homogenising (uniformity) and profiling, spectral filters for wavelength control, and proprietary optical cavities for enhanced colour mixing.
Thermal Management
Our mechanical systems are designed to be robust and compact while ensuring maximum heat extraction to extend Epi-Light’s LED and product lifetime. Our modular approach allows the use of passive, forced-air, liquid or thermo-electric cooling solutions depending on the LED power density and optical requirements of our customers to provide innovative and leading edge products.
Electronic Control Technology
All our LED illumination systems are designed for operating in PWM and/or constant current mode while also providing for 0-100% via analogue control. Depending on customer requirements, the illuminator can be controlled directly by the user or through a machine interface.
Mechanical Design, Packaging & Assembly Technology
Epi-Light has developed pioneering packaging solutions, based on patented and proprietary technologies, to assemble dense LED arrays. These arrays provide unmatched levels of brightness while maintaining superior thermal performance.
When combining all elements of the design, Epi-Light LED products provide our customers with extremely compact and high brightness (HB) illumination solutions.
