Machine Vision
Over the years Epi-Light has developed considerable experience in developing customised solutions to address complex machine visions problems such as appearance variables, geometry, surface issues, specular issues, positional variables etc.
As lighting is probably the aspect of Machine Vision systems most overlooked or under estimated we understand its importance and as result we have a dedicated knowledge-based engineering team working on the enhancement of our standard and custom based LED solutions on a continual basis.
Our solutions are used for applications such as counting, defect detection, edge following, and pattern detection in industries ranging from food and beverage to pharmaceutical.
Our IR Projector and /or Spot Lights are ideal for the Intelligent Transportation Systems and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) with long range capabilities and wide divergence angles available on standard products.
Epi-Light's product range includes line lights, back lights and projector lights, all of which are well suited to meeting machine vision illumination requirements.
