Exci Light
Epi-Light’s Exci-Light combines patented ultra high power LED technology with innovative optics to produce an extremely compact and sensitive biofluorescence illuminator. Unlike other LED technologies, Exci-Light exhibits high brightness and a very narrow spectral output in a large uniform beam. The combination of these features make Exci-Light ideal for fluorescence imaging applications requiring speed and extreme sensitivity. Exci-Light’s unique modular design make it especially suitable for applications such as gel documentation, micro-titre plate analysis, micro-array analysis and in-vivo diagnostics. The Exci-Light comes with an optical mount and compact power supply which enables the LED intensity to be varied from 0 to 100% and it can also be pulsed.
Our standard Exci-Light (Deep-Blue) product has been designed to operate very effectively for a wide variety of fluorescence probes. These includes, SYBR Green, SYBR Gold, SYBR Safe, Alexa Fluor 488, Cy2, GFPs, SYPRO Ruby and SYPRO Orange. Other emission wavelengths are readily available.
