Peter Hallissey
Peter, a shareholder in Epi-Light since 2008, has extensive experience across a range of industries. He worked in the financial services sector for over 20 years before setting up his own investment business. The business is successfully established in a range of sectors including financial, property and leisure/hospitality both in Ireland and the UK.
Peter is a Certified Financial Advisor and Taxation Consultant.
Pat O’Flynn
Pat is an entrepreneur with over fifteen years’ experience ranging from operational management to strategic leadership roles in highly regulated industries. Pat was previously CEO of AVR-Safeway Ltd., a company which he co-founded and in which he created significant shareholder value. The company was ultimately sold to international utility company Veolia in 2008. Pat has successfully managed joint ventures and collaborations with leading international companies. Pat was a finalist in the 2008 Ernst and Young Ireland Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
John O’Flynn
John O’Flynn is Managing Director of Southcoast Transport Limited, a transport company specializing in the highly regulated business of transportation of Chemical Waste (with clients such as Pfizer, Janssen, GlaxoSmithKline). Southcoast has successfully grown from a family business founded over 30 years ago to become the largest chemical transport company in Ireland, providing a national and international service (24 hours operations 365 days a year). Southcoast currently employs 70 people and has 47 trucks in use on a national and international basis. It is an ISO9000 approved business and is also SQAS accredited (industry specific accreditation for the transportation of Hazardous materials).
Tom O’Brien (C.T.O)
Tom is a co-founder of Epi-Light
Tom has a BSc from Dublin City University, as well as diplomas in electronic and mechanical engineering, with further qualifications in project management, production management and semiconductor processing. Tom has many years international experience in the Semiconductor industry, Electronics manufacturing, Pharmaceutical equipment and photonics devices. Tom has completed several development projects from concept to commercialization including illumination devices, vision system integration and large scale automation equipment. As Epi-Light CTO Tom has responsibility for Epi-Light product design and development.
